For your consideration is an outstanding antique Chinese Tea Caddy. Fine white porcelain with enameled ornamentation, gilt accents and trim.

Decorated throughout, two identical medallions depicting a figural scene with a man smoking a pipe. Original teardrop finialed lid in matching pattern. Raised and gilt meander pattern at base. Tagged on underside from a previous collection - SHREVE CRUMP & LOW CO. Shreve, Crump & Low is America's oldest jeweler and a purveyor of fine objects d'art.
