You are viewing a lovely porcelain tea caddy in the Rococo style. I believe this is a piece by the French company, Samson, although it is unsigned. I would estimate it was made in the second half of the 19th century.
It is elaborately decorated with slip decoration, a faux armorial shield, and floral decoration throughout. It measures about 11 centimeters wide by 8 centimeters deep by about 12 centimeters tall.It is in good condition with no chips or cracks that I can see. Some minor loss to the gilding especially on the raised areas.
