Antique Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Large Hexagon Lidded Tea Caddy Ginger Jar. A stunning 19th century antique Famille Rose Chinese porcelain jar with lid, richly hand painted with vivid colors. It is a hexagonal shaped, large tea caddy with an indoor and outdoor scene on each side. The scenes depict royal groups of people, distant mountains and an empress astride a horse. There is a Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi red character mark and numbering on the underside. The lid sits well on the jar which would have been used for either tea, ginger or spices. The jar is in excellent condition, especially considering its age, with no chips, cracks or damage.
