The lid is made from wood.The tea caddy has a recessed base and unglazed foot. There is a stamped factory mark on the base in iron red that reads Hua Cha Gong Si porcelain factory. There is also the stamped CHINA mark. 5" (12.7 cm) x 3 ¾" (9.5 cm) x 5 ¾ (14.6 cm) tall. Weighs 15.4 oz (435 g).
