A porcelain egg shaped tea caddy / jar / lidded vase or whatever you want it to be on three feet with its lid made by KPM in the late 19th or early 20th century. It is hand painted with a large floral arrangement on one side as well as nice Watteau style scene on the other side. The top and the feet have some nice gold trim.
The lid is nice as well. And the feet are superb with a branch winding up them and some gold raised leaves and flowers coming out the top.
The piece is 6.125 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the red orb as well as the blue scepter mark and a gilder's or artist mark that is mostly gone. The piece is in great condition with a chip to the edge of the lid as shown. If you like my goodies have a look at my other auctions for a lot more top maker pieces like Frankenthal, Sevres and so on.
