Rare Meissen Hand Painted Tea Caddy Jar circa 1930 s. No flaws First grade/quality factory mark. When examining Meissen sword marks if it has a strike though the bottom half of the sward one or more these are factory seconds. This piece in a first quality graded condition. One puzzling issue there is a foil Meissen tag inside the tea caddy, have no idea why.
Early Porcelain Hand painted Caddy, with lovely flowers and with gold rim. Arched top and domed lid with finial. 6 to the top of finial. Base 2" deep 3" wide.
Marked in the bottom Meissen Blue Sword Mark and numbered on base. I presume the mark is for Meissen 1930s, but please look at photos provided for your own opinion, sometime that marks appeared on earlier Meissen porcelain.
