Vintage Mid Century Meissen Chinese Red & Gold Gilt Dragon Porcelain Tea Caddy. Measuring 4" high x 2 3/4" wide x 1 5/8 in depth. The porcelain tea caddy features a stylized red, salmon and gold gilt dragon designs on a crisp white background.

Marked on the underside with the Meissen blue crossed swords with straight cross pieces which indicate it was made between the years 1947 and 1973. It is in excellent pre-owned condition. Nice and clean inside and out, no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. The underside has a couple of light marks on the rim from moving across a table surface. I saw a minuscule wear spot on the gold gilt trim around the lids base.
